The HIV/AIDS Project

About 3/4 of our beneficiaries are people that are either living with the disease or have contracted the virus. The stigma around this does not quite go away and hence through this project, our HIV/AIDS unit continues to educate, provide assistance in the form of counseling and making medication and preventative measures available at all times in collaboration with partners on the ground. The project also involves Men having Sex with Men (MSM) and this particular group requires constant outreach visits especially to prisons where the practice is complicated, yet common.
