OUR PROJECTS/ PRIORITY AREAS
LGBTQ people, intersex persons and sex workers around the world experience discrimination, violence, harassment, rejection, and exclusion from society based on their sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics. There are increasing numbers of brutal crimes targeting LGBTIQ persons. In addition, laws and policies that criminalize the status and conduct of LGBTIQ people and sex workers violate their human rights and undermine their safety and human dignity. They face a torrent of well-resourced attacks on their dignity, safety, and freedoms, particularly from anti-gender movements and disinformation campaigns often supported by prominent community leaders or influencers. To mitigate this, we have put in place the follow activities including some humanitarian efforts.
